Dr Jyoti Nangalia
Group Leader
Jyoti studied Medicine at Cambridge University and subsequently trained as a Haematologist. She discovered CALR mutations in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), now a routine clinical test, during her PhD at the University of Cambridge, now a routine clinical test. She is a Group Leader at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and Cambridge Institute for Medical Research at the University of Cambridge. She is a Clinical Haematologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, UK.
